5) The Old Brewery Tavern

If you’re not looking to spend too much but still after a decent night out, get your hands on a £5 wristband to guarantee entry to The Old Brewery Tavern’s New Year’s party, boasting two DJs until 3am. 4) Club Chemistry

Start the night with a free glass of bubbly and end it stumbling home in the harsh morning light – Chemistry is the only place in Canterbury open right up until 6am this New Year’s Eve. 3) Chill

If you’re feeling classy, Chill is hosting a glamorous New Year’s Eve celebration with a dress code of Tux and Tiaras. The Ballroom’s Black & White Masquerade Ball is by far the most decadent way to spend this New Year’s Eve, with a strict black and white dress code and fancy invitation-style tickets. With entry at a reasonable £20, including complimentary champagne, canapés and ‘extra special surprises’, this exclusive event in Canterbury’s most opulent venue is our pick of the bunch.
