Adam admitted the “standard was very high” and that it left him “speechless” and “very proud” to actually win the competition.

“I’m speechless. It’s great to be nominated but to then go on and win is amazing, I’m so happy. I’m very proud because I know the standard was really high.”

His winning photo ‘A tank on the range’ was taken with the Royal Wessex Yeomanry and shows the Challenger 2 rolling down into the Lolworth live firing range, in Dorset.

Adam Webb has been in the Army with the Officer Training Corps for 3 years and the 3 Princess of Wales Royal Regiment Battalion Photographer for the past 2.

Since winning, his photo has been featured on the Daily Mail, the BBC, Army.mod.uk, and the British Army Facebook page. You can see the full list of winners on the Army’s site here.
