10:00 – 11:00 – Becoming a novelist

This talk presented by Andrea Bennett will cover her experiences traversing the world of publishing, agents and editors. As an experienced author, having started writing in 2015, Bennett has experienced a variety of different perspective of the literary world. She has published two novels and has written several articles within the national press, and has experienced many dimensions that are needed to become a writer.

Venue: KS4 Open to: Acting – all EP Points Value: 10

This session will focus on what it takes to make an acting career, how actors find work and what the next steps for you might be after graduating. It will be led by Will Wollen, an actor and theatre director with 18 years of experience, as well as teaching in some of the UK’s leading drama schools. Max. number of participants for this talk is 40, so book ASAP. Open to any student wondering about becoming an actor.
