Giant fire at the University of Bristol
The University of Bristol is ablaze tonight, as at least nine fire engines respond to the fire in the Fry Building, believed to be empty, with nearby study areas having been evacuated.
Professor Gary Foster, from the university, said: “Patchy news at the moment but looks like massive fire in our old building, the Fry building, at Bristol Uni. Building being totally refurbished for Maths. Devastating.”
Students across the university are tweeting the incident.
