With the release of I Feel Cream, Peaches yet again increases her musical indoctrinations. Anyone who is expecting a thematic change of the sexily sordid lyrics will be disappointed. Instead of deliberating on other, deeper issues of our existence, Peaches is still stuck on the same topic: sex! Thank goodness, you might say. From Teaches Of Peaches (2000) over Impeach My Bush (2006) and her new album I Feel Cream – Peaches is still pre-occupied with the horizontal mambo, the jiggy jiggy, the bed boogie and the rumpy pumpy. Simian Mobile Disco, Soulwax and Drums of Death lend a hand in the progress, contributing to the overall product. And what an album it is: cheeky, provocative, crass – everything fans love about Peaches. Each track has a different musical make-up; “Billionaire” dabbles with Hip Hop elements whilst the much more subtle “Lose You” feels like a slightly more minimalistic melancholic Depeche Mode moment. The only constant in the change of track attitude is sex. The first single release, “Talk to me”, a collaboration with Soulwax – provides a potential dance floor shaker reminiscent of famous 80s disco struts (but please leave your neon pink leg warmers in the closet!). Forget cutesy eyelash fluttering, Peaches serves up the steamy, in-your-face soundtrack for any forms of amorous encounters.

• Nice review, but how come it has a picture of Peaches Geldorf,she has nowt to do with this Peaches..
