Man Stabbed at Club Chemistry

A 19-year-old man was stabbed at Canterbury’s Club Chemistry last night. He is now recovering in hospital. Police were called during the early hours of Tuesday morning after the man, believed to be a student at the University of Kent, was stabbed in the abdomen with a knife.

Following the incident, the club was shut down and everyone inside the club kept inside for some minutes. The police then gradually allowed everyone to leave, taking video evidence of each person.

Club Chemistry is a popular destination for the many students in Canterbury and this incident is all the more shocking as it comes during Freshers’ Week at the University of Kent.
