Pencil Stabbing in Canterbury High Street
A 38-year-old man was stabbed in the eye with a pencil in Canterbury’s High Street on Christmas Eve. According to police investigating the incident, the man was looking for a taxi with his son when they got into an argument with another group of people, before one man attempted to stab the 38-year-old in the eye with a pencil. The incident took place at about 1am on Christmas Day. A 27-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of assault and was put on bail until early February.
