Mark Watson – Gulbenkian Theatre, July 25th
Official press statement stuff:
“Mark Watson will be presenting a one hour preview of his forthcoming Edinburgh show, All the thoughts I’ve had since I was born, in the Gulbenkian Café Bar. “
DONE! George’s opinion time.
I’ve been looking forward to this for quite some time and the lovely people over at the Gulbenkian have offered me two press tickets to see Mark Watson. If you haven’t heard of him, check him out on youtube, or on the little video at the bottom.
The Guardian came up with quite a good analogy for him which I cant really fault: “If a tornado could be bumbling and lovable while blowing things around, the experience would be similar to a Mark Watson stand-up set”.
The tickets are £10 to this preview show, which means no review so we don’t spread his material before his big tour. Also means no interview for me, which is a shame.
I honestly can’t think of anything else to say really, as a preview set, I can’t really comment on anything, but he is a funny lad so I’m sure many a joke will be had.
Anyway, watch the clip, piss yourself in laughter, then buy a ticket.
