Man dies after falling from a bridge onto the A2 at Wincheap
A man died after falling from a bridge crossing over the A2 at Wincheap last Thursday causing long delays for drivers. The man fell into the path of a Transit Van on the London-bound carriageway and suffered multiple injuries. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police are not treating the incident as suspisious and are not looking for anyone in connection with the death. The man, a resident of Thanington, was not named by police.
