Kent Sport’s Top 5 Best Gym Classes

Are you one of those people that wants to try out all those gym classes, but is too scared to? InQuire’s Meg Warwick hit up all the gym classes on offer and has picked the best of the best to attend. Whether you go it alone or drag your friends, make sure you try these top 5 picks. All you have to have is, at least, a Bronze Kent Sport membership! Everyone with a membership can walk in and take a space at the sports centre, but for Silver and Gold memberships booking online is available in advance for free.

Make sure to book fast because these classes are all taken up from as early as the week before! Arrive 15 minutes before, and be ready to work your fitness with these high energy sports. Go along, and get out of that winter couch potato!

Zumba

Fun and gets you moving, Zumba is perfect for beginners! With a mix of classic Zumba songs and chart toppers, I would definitely recommend Zumba to those who want to work on their cardio yet have fun. Plus, they have three classes a week so there’s no excuse not to go.

Grab some pals and head down to the dance studio for Zumba! Mondays 12.10pm, Wednesdays 6.30pm, and Saturdays 11.15am

Ab Attack

This one really makes you feel good after. With exercises that strengthen your inner core, ab attack is a perfect solution to get that tum in shape (so you won’t feel so guilty about eating all those Easter eggs). Music is rocking and your stomach will feel super toned.

Get that toned tum ready for summer with the Ab Attack classes. Mondays and Wednesdays at 4.45pm

Body Pump

No need to fear weights anymore! Body pump allows you to pick a weight that’s suited to your strength and move in time with the beat. Who knew lifting could be fun?

Gains for days with Body Pump every single day apart from Sunday! Mondays 2.30pm, Tuesdays 5.30pm, Wednesdays 2.10pm, Thursdays 6.30pm, Fridays 12.10pm, and Saturdays 10am

Spin

Now this one requires effort. I know what you’re thinking, effort?! But trust me, those legs may feel like jelly for a short time after, but in the long run you’ll be able to hike up any mountain.

Spin those legs off in the Dance Studio, Tuesdays 6.30pm, Wednesdays 8am (Express), Fridays 7.30pm, and Sundays at 12pm

Circuits

A fab class for friends. Battle against your best mate in circuits and see who can do those suicides quicker. Gets you fit without even having to try (well, you do have to try but you don’t even notice!).

Join everybody together in the main hall to work together and build up your cardio fitness with high intensity relay exercises. Mondays and Thursdays at 6.10pm
